The vision of combining live and online auctions takes shape in the form of the first so-called Netlive auctions. In this form of auction, dealers can bid along both live on location as well as online, in the comfort of their own office. This idea has developed into the most successful form of marketing at Autobid.de today.
Its own online auction platform for used vehicles www.autobid.de was started and was quickly accepted by customers. The Autobid.de brand developed into one of the most experienced and successful B2B marketers in the whole of Europe.
At Retro Classics in Stuttgart, Europe's largest vintage model trade fair, CLASSICBID was represented for the first time with a stand covering 1,000 m2. The enthusiastic audience was able to both admire over 50 exhibited classic cars as well as buy them in a live auction.
Purchase of a particularly attractive property from an architectural perspective in Grolsheim (administrative district of Mainz-Bingen). With approx. 20,000 m2 of usable area, the CLASSICBID business division will move in here as of autumn/winter 2016. It will then incorporate a mixture of competence, services and exhibition centre – or in other words: a meeting place for enthusiasts of vintage models and modern classics.
Classicbid entered into a cooperation agreement with Klassikstadt in Frankfurt. In April of that year the first "external" auction by Classicbid was held there – and created an enormous amount of interest from the audience.
On 18 October 2014 the Classicbid centre in Weiterstadt was opened with its first, very well-attended vintage model and modern classics auction.
Until now only commercial properties were included in the portfolio, but in 2014 propertybid.de opened its doors to the area of private properties. At the same time, properties are now offered at the online platform at a fixed price under the name “Marketplace”, alongside the auctions.
